For
those who have been patiently waiting for more places to shop in
the Southlake area, one new store is meeting many needs - Trocadero
at Southlake Plaza on Route 40. The name Trocadero means "to
alter or change," which is appropriate since this is the place
to find very unique and creative fine furnishings. In order to appeal
to all tastes we offer traditional to contemporary furnishings.
"The store is almost like an Emporium," commented owner Mary
Catherine Perry. "We have a little bit of everything, from
a full line of upholstery and furniture to gourmet foods, wines
and gift baskets and ladies apparel."
If you are familiar with Trocadero from its previous location on
Starkey Road in Roanoke, this is the same store - only better. Trocadero
chose the Southlake Plaza location based on the amount of space
it provided and an opportunity to serve a rapidly growing section
of Smith Mountain Lake.
